Congresswoman Lois Capps joined many other Congressmen and Congresswomen in wearing scarves and ties on March 7 - 11 to recognize Stop the Violence Week, hosted by Lifetime Television. Capps finds this topic to be especially important this year as Congress prepares to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act.
