Rep. Pete King (R-Seaford) Tuesday said he will hold a congressional hearing next week on how terrorist threats against the United States have changed since the death earlier this month of al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden.
The hearing by the House Homeland Security Committee next Wednesday will include the testimony of three experts and TV analysts, and co-chair of the 9/11 Commission Lee Hamilton.
The experts include former Bush administration counterterrorism adviser Frances Townsend, New American Foundation scholar and author Peter Bergen, and Evan Kohlmann, Pentagon expert witness at Guantánamo military commission trials.
