I am requesting funding for the Completion of North Central Texas Fusion System in fiscal year 2010.  The entity to receive this program is the Collin County Homeland Security on behalf of the North Central Texas Fusion System, located at 4300 Community Ave, McKinney, TX 75071. 

Completion of the existing, widely used, and highly effective North Central Texas Fusion System. Includes adding key data handling and analysis components for the law enforcement and emergency management organizations in the entire 4^th Congressional District as well as the remainder of the North Central Texas 16-county region. Benefits include 1) prevention and early detection of threats to the 4^th Congressional District and the Dallas/Fort Worth region; 2) significantly improved law enforcement investigation effectiveness of small as well as large agencies across the 4^th District and region at no cost to the agencies; 3) actionable analysis of threats from criminal gangs, organized crime, illegal dumping, drug cartels, hazardous materials, pandemics, etc; and 4) support to emergency response to disasters.
