M-240 High Capacity Feed System (HCFS)
Amount Requested: $1,500,000
I am requesting funding for the M-240 High Capacity Feed System (HCFS) in fiscal year 2010.  The entity to receive this program is the Contract Fabrication & Design, LLC, located 5427 FM 546, Princeton, TX 75407.

 

The funding would be used for Weapons Armament Mission B-Kits to meet ammunition fire rates required by UH-60 Operational Requirements Documents for greatly improved safety of crew and soldiers in combat.  It exceeds the un-funded ORD requirement providing 10 times more ammunition for defending the warfighter, providing significantly more accurate, thus more lethal fire power with superior self protection and frees up critical cabin space.
