Renewable Energy Summit to examine stimulus deals |

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Business owners interested in learning what the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act has in store for Wisconsin may want to pencil in Friday on their datebooks.
U.S. Rep. Dave Obey (D-Wausau), a key architect of the stimulus package, will be a keynote speaker at the Renewable Energy Summit at the Midwest Airlines Center.
"We're really thrilled because of his involvement with the whole package," said Art Harrington of Godfrey & Kahn, a coordinator of the event.
The theme of the three-day event, which kicks off Wednesday, is "Green Business-Unlimited Economic Opportunity."
Gov. Jim Doyle, U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee) and Judy Ziewacz of the state Office of Energy Independence and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett will speak. ...
