Community Joins Baca in protecting children from violence

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Representative Joe Baca (D-CA) today announced plans for legislation aimed at curbing the sale or rental of grotesque, violent video games to minors. With children and a school as a backdrop, he encouraged everyone who cares about children to become aware of what kids in their communities are being exposed to every day.

"As parents we work hard to teach and train our children," Baca said. "Let's not destroy that bond - it can't be about just making money! Its more than that - let's protect our children!"

"As a father and a grandfather this hits home - what about you? Are you an aunt, uncle, father, mother, nephew, cousin or just someone who cares about our children!"
