Congressman Joe Baca, Hispanic Caucus to Hold Forum on
Reforming Immigration

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC), community organizations, local elected officials, and citizens will join Representative Joe Baca (D-Rialto) for a Forum on Immigration Reform on Sunday, July 21, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at San Bernardino City Hall in San Bernardino, California.

The forum will provide an opportunity for community members, elected officials and organizations that have an interest in immigration issues to share their views and suggestions for a legalization program and immigration reform. Since 2001, Democratic leaders have been working to re-craft our immigration policies in ways that better reflect our nation's values of family unity, fairness, and prosperity for all. The Forum represents a unique opportunity to hear from the community on the next logical step in reforming immigration and creating a successful legalization program.
