Each year, I hold as many public town meetings throughout
the Third Congressional District as possible because I
believe the concept of meeting face-to-face with elected
officials is at the heart of our democracy.
Our town meetings are non-partisan, public gatherings where we discuss matters
of current interest, including pending federal legislation and issues of interest
to the local community. There won't be any big speeches -- just a lot of listening
and a free exchange of ideas.
We will also be glad to provide assistance if you are having
a problem involving a federal agency. You, your family
and friends are cordially invited to attend any of the
meetings in your area. I hope to see you there!
