Military Academy Applications

As a Member of Congress, I am able to nominate young men and women from the 8th District of Illinois to one of our country's four service Academies:   Air Force Academy ,   Army ,   Merchant Marine ,   or   Navy .

The United States   Coast Guard   does not accept Congressional nominations, applications must be submitted directly to the Director of Admissions, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut 06320.

Certain information is required as outlined below in order for you to be considered as an applicant. It is your responsibility to submit this information and to keep it updated. The deadline for the receipt of this information is November 1, 200 7, because there must be adequate time to assess each candidate's qualifications. Your materials must be postmarked by November 1, 2007, to be eligible.
