| Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo exits the House Chamber following President George W. Bush’s final State of the Union Address with her special guest, Army Major Nicole Unpingco Reinhardt, daughter of the late Senator Antonio R. Unpingco. Major Reinhardt, who has previously deployed to Iraq, is an Army Acquisition Officer currently detailed to the National Capital Center in Falls Church, Virginia. |
Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo recently signed an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) "5-STAR STATEMENT OF SUPPORT FOR THE GUARD AND RESERVE." Bordallo joins other employers nationwide and on Guam pledging to support our men and women serving our island and our country as members of the National Guard and Reserve.
“The invaluable service the Guard and Reserve members provide to this country and our Armed Forces calls for great measures in protecting their livelihood on the home front,” said Bordallo. “I commend the ESGR for their work in mediating between employers and employees to ensure that the benefits and compensation of our Armed Forces members are honored during deployments which call for their service away from our island.
