New Press Contact: Ms. Audreya Taitano 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—January 31, 2008 Washington, D.C.

Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo today appointed Ms. Audreya J.P. Taitano of Mangilao as her new Assistant Press Secretary.  Audreya, who goes by “Audi,” will work in the Guam District Office and today is her first day in her new position.  She replaces Cathy Sablan Gault, who retired from federal service in December 2007.

Audi is a 1999 graduate of the Academy of Our Lady of Guam.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson, and holds an advanced degree in English from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.

She is the daughter of Rowena Ellen Perez and Joseph Punzalan.
