Bordallo Congratulates Underwood on Selection as UOG President
 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 17, 2008– Washington, D.C.

Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo today issued the following statement on the recent selection of Former Congressman Robert A. Underwood as the University of Guam’s next president.

“Mr. Underwood possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience that will benefit the entire University of Guam.  His history of service to the university and his vision for its future inspires confidence and his tenure as a five-term Member of Congress will certainly enhance UOG’s participation in federal programs.

“I have great expectations for UOG’s students, faculty, and staff under Mr. Underwood’s leadership, and I congratulate him for being selected as UOG’s tenth president.”
