Congressional Town Hall Meeting to be Held Thursday
Residents encouraged to voice their views on Military Buildup
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—August 15, 2007–Hagatna, Guam–
The public is reminded that they are invited to attend and speak at a town hall meeting on the military build up that Congresswoman Bordallo is hosting tomorrow. Congresswoman Donna M. Christensen of the Virgin Islands, the Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Insular Affairs, will join Congresswoman Bordallo in attendance.
Where: Hilton Hotel, Micronesian Ballroom
When: Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.
All statements provided at the town hall meeting, either verbally or in writing, will be transcribed into an official record that will supplement the transcript from the oversight hearing that was held by the Subcommittee on Insular Affairs of the House Committee on Natural Resources on Monday, August 13, 2007, at the University of Guam.
