Christian Hescock, who was killed in a helicopter crash on Monday: “I send sincere condolences to the family and friends of Lt. Christian Hescock and my wishes for a speedy recovery for the crewmen who survived the crash. We accept that serving in the armed forces comes with risk, but it pains us nonetheless when tragedy occurs. “Lt. Hescock served his country honorably in Guam and for that he and the men who flew with him merit our gratitude and respect. Our community extends to our Navy friends our thoughts and prayers.
