Kimberly Thompson

Kimberly Thompson -- Legislative Director

Kimberly joined Congressman Brady’s staff in August 2006. Prior to joining the Brady Team, Kimberly worked as an international trade and government relations consultant in Washington, DC and served at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative under Ambassador Robert B. Zoellick. She oversees legislative policy for the Congressman, and handles all international trade issues. A native of Tennessee, Kimberly graduated with a B.A. in History from Vanderbilt University.

Bonnie Buchanan -- Deputy Press Secretary/Scheduler

Bonnie joined Congressman Brady’s office in March of 2008. As Deputy Press Secretary and Scheduler Bonnie serves as Congressman Brady’s Washington, D.C. press contact and coordinates Mr. Brady’s Washington, D.C. schedule. Prior to joining the Brady Team Bonnie worked for Congressman J. Randy Forbes of Virginia. A Connecticut native, Bonnie graduated from James Madison University of Virginia in 2006 with a B.A. in International Affairs and a minor in Spanish.

Chris Eyler

Chris EylerLegislative Assistant

Chris joined Congressman Brady’s staff in April 2007. As a legislative assistant to Congressman Brady, Chris handles health, education, telecommunications, judiciary, agriculture, Indian affairs, Veterans, and welfare issues. Prior to joining the Brady team, Chris worked as a legislative assistant handling health, education, labor and judiciary issues for Senator Conrad Burns of Montana, and also previously served in a variety of capacities on the staff of Senator Frank Murkowski of Alaska. A native of Indiana, Chris graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2005 and from Miami University (Ohio) in 1996 with a B.A. in History and Political Science. James Franko

James Franko -- Legislative Correspondent

James joined Congressman Brady’s staff in July 2007 and serves as a Legislative Correspondent. In this capacity he is responsible for managing and responding to all constituent correspondence and additional legislative tasks. Prior to joining the Brady team, James worked for Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner of Wisconsin. A Kansas native, James graduated from Kansas State University in 2005 with a B.A. in Business Administration.

Katie Weiss

Katie Weiss -- Office Manager/Press Assistant

Katie joined Congressman Brady’s office in July 2007. A native Texan, Katie is a graduate of Baylor University having earned a B.A. in Political Science. Katie coordinates Capitol tours, flag requests and assists with various administrative and legislative duties.

Sarah Stephens

Sarah Stephens -- District Director

Sarah serves as District Director for Congressman Brady.  After serving as Congressman Brady’s press secretary since March of 2003, she has settled with her family in Texas to be closer to the groups and people she worked with so often in Washington, D.C.

Like Sam Houston, Sarah is a native Virginian, who got to Texas as quick as she could.  She holds a B.S. in Government from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.  Sarah and her husband Todd have one infant daughter, Avery.

Christine Joines - District Scheduler

Christine Joines -- District Scheduler

Christine joined Congressman Brady’s staff in June of 2007. She graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX with a BBA in Marketing. As the District Scheduler, Christine handles all of Congressman Brady’s scheduling requests for Texas.

Todd Stephens - Legislative Assistant

Todd Stephens -- Director of Regional Issues

Todd has been with Congressman Brady's office since January 2005. He served as Legislative Assistant in the Congressman’s Washington, D.C. and now oversees the district’s regional policy issues such as transportation and water resources. Prior to joining the Brady Team, Todd worked as a bill drafter and committee staff for the Kentucky General Assembly. Todd holds a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Kentucky and a M.A. in Political Science from Eastern Kentucky University.

Janet Qureshi - Director of Case Management

Janet Qureshi -- Director of Case Management

Janet has worked for Congressman Brady the last fourteen years.  As a Congressional Liaison she works with veterans and constituents who need assistance in Social Security, Medicare, Immigration and many other areas of federal government. As a former nurse her background in medicine helps to get to the bottom of medical concerns that the veterans, seniors and Medicare constituents may have.

Lydia Dameral

Lydia Damrel -- Congressional Field Representative (Orange, Tyler, Hardin, Newton, and Jasper counties)

Lydia Damrel has lived in Southeast Texas for over forty years and in Orange County since 1973. She graduated from Newton High School and attended Lamar University Beaumont.

Before joining Congressman Brady’s staff, Lydia worked in a number of different professional capacities in the private sector. Among her civic contributions are one of the original members of Golden Triangle Republican Women’s Club and member of the Azalea Garden Club in Vidor. Lydia has also served as a volunteer precinct chair and coordinated ballot security for fifteen different East Texas counties.

Always active in the community, Lydia looks forward to serving citizens in Orange, Hardin, Tyler, Jasper, and Newton counties as a Congressional Field Representative. In this position, Lydia’s goal is to give constituents a greater voice by being available to them near where they work and live.

Lydia enjoys sewing, shopping, swimming, music and reading. She and her husband Terry are both proud parents and proud grandparents, live in Vidor, and attend Ridgewood Church of Christ in Beaumont.

Brandon Reese

Brandon Reese -- Congressional Field Representative

Brandon joined Congressman Brady’s staff in August 2007. As a Congressional Field Representative, Brandon’s job consists of establishing strong relationships with constituents of Walker, Polk, San Jacinto, Tyler, and parts of Liberty and Trinity counties, and reporting to Congressman Brady on issues within the district. Brandon also oversees the Service Academy process for Congressman Brady.

Brandon will graduate from Sam Houston State University in May 2008 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. He is a participant in the Elliot T. Bowers Honors Program at SHSU and is an alumnus of the Political Science Junior Fellows. Brandon began working as an intern for Congressman Brady in Washington, D.C. in the fall of 2006 as part of his college curriculum. Tracee Evans -- Press Secretary

Tracee joined Congressman Brady’s office in March of 2008 after nearly two decades chasing the big stories for radio news stations in Houston and San Antonio. Prior to joining the Brady Team, Tracee toiled for KTRH in Houston, WOAI and KTSA in San Antonio, and the Texas State News Network. A military brat who got to Texas as quickly as she could, Tracee holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Communications from Morehead State University in Kentucky (her grandmother’s alma mater). In May of 2008, Tracee will receive her Juris Doctorate from the South Texas College of Law. Husband Larry has put up with her reporting across the globe for 18 years now. Both are most proud of their daughters, Elizabeth Rhiannon, 14, and Katharine Raven, 11.
