The reauthorization for this program put forth by the Leadership of the House of Representatives calls for opening the door for full SCHIP reimbursements for families with incomes up to 350% of the Federal Poverty Level ($72,000 for a family of four), for individuals up to the age of 21, as well as for weakening current law requiring states to document the identify and citizenship status of individuals attempting to enroll in SCHIP.
