Flag Requests:
I believe that the
American Flag which symbolizes freedom and opportunity embodies the
nationhood of the United States and should be honored with the
highest respect. Constituents in the 5th Congressional
District of Indiana may purchase their own American Flag through my
office. You may request that the flag be flown over the U.S.
Capitol, courtesy of the Architect of the Capitol, for an additional
charge. Complete the flag request form and send to Congressman
Dan Burton with your check enclosed, to 2308

Being a Page in
the U.S. House of Representatives is an exciting and rewarding experience that
gives students an opportunity to have a contributing role in the legislative

applicants must be a high school junior at least 16 years of age at the time
their appointment begins and have a cumulative grade point average of "B" or
