Cadet Lt. Nathan Bennett, a senior in Company H2 and Modesto native, is a Defense and Strategic Studies major at West Point Academy with a track in Mechanical Engineering branching into Infantry upon graduation. Nathan is also a Physical Development Officer and member of the Army Water Polo Team. Over the past four years, he has earned his Air Assault Wings, received the Commandants Award for Leadership, and maintained a GPA above 3.5.
His brother, Cadet Cpl. Austin Bennett, is a sophomore in Company C1, majoring in Human Geography with a track in Systems Engineering. Austin is responsible for guiding a group of freshmen through the rigors of the academy to ensure their successful transition from civilian to cadet. He is a second year member of the Army Water Polo Team, eager to break State Championship records. Together, this brother duo welcomes the challenges West Point offers and continue to thrive. Their younger brother David is enrolled in the IB Program at Modesto High School.
