Important: Participation in the contest is at the discretion of each Member office. Please visit the Congressional App Challenge website to confirm your district's participation and obtain specific guidance. Entry guidelines for the competition and other details are available at the Congressional App Challenge website.

About the Competition

The Congressional App Challenge is designed to engage student creativity and encourage their participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education fields. This nationwide event allows high school students from across the country to compete against their peers by creating and exhibiting their software application, or "app," for mobile, tablet, or computer devices on a platform of their choice.

The Congressional App Challenge is sponsored by the Internet Education Foundation (IEF), which assists offices in hosting the challenges in their individual districts. Those interested in participating should visit the Congressional App Challenge website for more details.
