Rosa traveled to Kansas for an opportunity to meet with farmers and discuss agricultural issues on September 13, 2007. The students built a six-foot tall book with a pledge that reads, "Global warming is an important issue, and I support a mandatory plan that will put a price on the emissions of greenhouse gases such as a cap-and-trade program."
