Savings for Working Families Act, HR 4106 Back to LegislationThis bill provides banks, credit unions, and community organizations with a tax credit to offset much of the cost of matching contributions to Individual Development Accounts. Individual Development Accounts enable low-income working families to save, build wealth, and enter the financial mainstream. These matched savings accounts are for three specific uses: buying a first home; receiving post-secondary education or training; or starting a small business.
