Dearborn, MI - Congressman John D. Dingell (MI-15) congratulates the board of directors and officers on their appointment to lead the recently formed International Wildlife Refuge Alliance (IWRA), a group of concerned citizens and organizations committed to supporting the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge. The board brings together individuals with a wide-range of experiences and expertise in the public, private and non-profit sectors whose responsibility it will be to carry out the mission of the IWRA. “I am exceeding pleased that so many of our community leaders have chosen to serve the IWRA whose mission it is to support our refuge. Congressman Dingell said. Their leadership will be essential in creating a viable refuge with community support and involvement.
