Dingell's Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigation investigates the generic drug industry, uncovering bribery and widespread fraud on FDA drug applications. The Committee's efforts resulted in arrests and new regulations for generic drugs and helped enact the Generic Drug Enforcement Act of 1991.
