Academy Appointments
Each year I have the honor of nominating a limited number of qualified young people who live in my district to each U.S. Service Academy. Final selection is made by each academy on a competitive basis.
The U.S. Service Academies--Army, Navy, Air Force, and Merchant Marines--offer top-notch educational opportunities. Those seeking nomination may request an application by calling my Texas office.
Suggested online resources:
- The U.S. Military Academy (West Point)
- The U.S. Naval Academy
- The U.S. Air Force Academy
- The U.S. Merchant Marines Academy
If you are interested in interning in either my Austin or Washington offices, please send an email with your resume attached indicating your interest to Lloyd.Doggett@mail.house.gov.
