FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WASHINGTON, D.C. ---- FALEOMAVAEGA EXPANDS WEB SITE TO INCLUDE NEWSLETTERS

Congressman Faleomavaega announced today that his home page on the world wide web now contains a link to an on- line copy of his Congressional newsletters.

"As of today, anyone interested in seeing or obtaining a copy of the most recent or future newsletters can do so through my home page on the web at `www.house.gov/faleomavaega/'", said Faleomavaega. "This is a continuation of my effort to use new technology to provide access to information concerning my Congressional duties to all those who are interested."

The Congressman continued, "Now, people can reach me quickly and economically from all over the world. I treat electronic messages the same as telephone calls and letters, and respond to them as soon as possible. For requests for me to communicate with a federal agency on their behalf, I still need either a signed letter or privacy act release, but most other communications can be handled easily and efficiently over the internet." "Of course, I still respond to requests for assistance received through the mail or made in person at either of my Congressional offices, and my staff is always available in both offices," concluded Faleomavaega. world wide web address: www.house.gov/faleomavaega/ e-mail address: faleomavaega@mail.house.gov office locations: Executive Office Building Utulei, American Samoa Telephone: 684-633-1372 2422 Rayburn House Office Bldg.
