WASHINGTON, DC - It was a morning of big toys for big boys on Capitol Hill yesterday, with the quick shots of a fake M15 rifle -- ra-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-tat! -- filling a reception room. Caucus convenes to scout out new technologies

When triaging soldiers wounded in battle, it’s not always obvious who needs attention first — and a misjudgment could be catastrophic.

The solution is putting medics through realistic, intensive training in triage procedures, with all the sights and sounds of war to give them the best chance of performing when the situation is real. MIAMI -- Scientists at the National Hurricane Center normally deliver findings in a just-the-facts style of prose: wind speeds, pressure readings, compass points. But their description of last year's Hurricane Wilma betrayed a sense of wonderment. To read more please Click Here.
