Statement of Congressman J. Randy Forbes on President Bush’s 2007 State of the Union Address

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) issued the following statement on his reaction to tonight’s State of the Union address.

“The President put appropriate focus in his State of the Union address on some of the key domestic issues affecting the daily lives of our citizens. While I can continue to stand with the President in his plan to support our men and women in uniform both here and abroad, I have serious questions about the President’s plan on immigration. Regarding the President’s ideas on health care, education and energy, I am looking forward to reviewing the President’s detailed proposals and moving towards thoughtful and bipartisan solutions.”
