  Ordering a Flag

To have a American flag flown over the U.S. Capitol please send a letter to my district office which includes the following:

• your name,
• address,
• day/work phone numbers,
• size and type flag requested,
• special instructions (i.e., if you want the flag flown on a certain day or for a special occasion). Flags may be flown in memory or recognition of a particular person, day, or event. There are no back-dated flags.

Also, because of the numerous requests received, my office is not able to provide these flags free of charge. You will need to make your check payable to “House Office Supply CA 2480.” Checks should be sent with your request. The charge includes your flag, a certificate stating that it has been flown over the Capitol, and shipping costs.

Upon receipt of your letter, your flag will be sent to the Capitol to be flown. We will then mail it to you.

If you would like a flag that has flown over the U.S. Capitol and are not commemorating a special date, person or event, flags are available for purchase from my district office for the same fees as noted above.
