Question of the Week: Home Loan Modifications

• Question: How do I find out if I can get a home loan modification?

→ Answer: The Federal Government has created a number of programs aimed at keeping people in their homes by either freezing their current interest rate for five years or possibly refinancing their current mortgage into a 30-year fixed interest rate mortgage with the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). To find out if you qualify for any of these government programs, you should contact the HopeNow Alliance at 1-888-995-4673 or their website, www.hopenow.com.
