Washington, D.C. July 9- Congresswoman Jane Harman issued the following statement following the release of the LAX Master Plan Alternative D by Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn: "The recent RAND report done at my request on Alternative D raised significant security concerns. On first reading, it does not appear that the Mayor has made changes to Alternative D that address these concerns or respond to the recommendations the report made for cost effective security improvements.

Washington, DC May 14 - Congresswoman Jane Harman (D-Venice), Ranking Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, today released a study conducted at her request by the RAND Corporation. The study raises numerous security concerns about LAX Master Plan Alternative D, which will be unveiled by Mayor Hahn for public comment in the near future.
