Harman Meets With Constituents At Venice Farmers Market

-- Harman’s first Farmers' Market Work Day of 2002 --

VENICE - As part of her ongoing constituent outreach program, Rep. Jane Harman met with her constituents at the Venice Farmer's Market to listen to their needs and concerns. Harman also made her district office staff available to local residents to help resolve any problems her constituents may be having with a federal agency.

After the farmers market, Harman said, “Meeting personally with my constituents is the best way to learn the needs and concerns of our 36th Congressional District.

With this in mind, I am planning a number of Farmers' Market Work Days this summer - in order to bring my office and services to the people of the 36th District.

It was a wonderful opportunity to hear my constituents’ thoughts and ideas on our homeland security efforts, the environment and other issues affecting our quality of life here in Southern California.”
