Employment Hearing Announcement

      Washington, DC -- Joint Economic Committee (JEC) Chairman Jim Saxton (R-NJ) announced today that the Committee will hold a hearing on the April employment situation on Friday, May 8, 1998. Dr. Katharine G. Abraham, Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, will testify.
