      Washington, D.C. -- Joint Economic Committee (JEC) Chairman Jim Saxton (R-N.J.) announced today that the Committee will hold a hearing on the May employment situation on Friday, June 5, 1998. Dr. Katharine G. Abraham, Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, will testify.
