IMF/WORLD BANK REFORM HEARING UPDATE

    WASHINGTON, D.C. – Fundamental reform of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank will be examined at a Joint Economic Committee hearing to be held on Wednesday, April 12.

   "This hearing will explore the substantive issues related to the need for reform of the IMF and World Bank," Vice Chairman Jim Saxton said. "I am pleased to have such a knowledgeable panel of witnesses before the Committee to help Congress and the public examine the critical and timely issues of reform of these institutions."
