Juniata County

Juniata County still holds a close bond with the river that serves as its namesake. While the Juniata River once served as the economic highway for the entire Juniata River Valley, it now offers residents and visitors numerous recreation opportunities, including boating and world-class fishing.

The County is home to a number of historic sites, vibrate corporations, and picturesque small towns. The County is famous for its many covered bridges and the restored portion of the Pennsylvania Canal that once ran from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia.

From bed and breakfast inns to restored Colonial homes and some of the nation's best bass fishing, come discover all that Juniata County has to offer.
