Can I use the Congressman as a reference when applying for a federal job or ask him for a recommendation for a federal job?
Due to ethics rules, I am prohibited from recommending constituents who I do not know personally and am in a positions to make statements based on personal knowledge of teh applicant's work. That said, I am in a position to inquire about the status of a constituent’s federal job application. Please contact one of my district offices.
