Through my office, constituents of the Fifth Congressional District of Pennsylvania are able to purchase United States flags. Upon request, and for a small charge, we are able to have the flag you purchased, flown over the U.S. Capitol on a random or specific date, such as an anniversary or birthday or in recognition of an event such as a retirement. A certificate with the date the flag was flown and for whom it was flown will be included. Requests for specific dates must be placed at least one month in advance. The delivery time for flags flown over the Capitol is approximately five to seven weeks after they are flown. Please note that due to the increased demand for flags, there is currently a wait list for flags. Please contact my Washington D.C. office before ordering a flag to check on availability. Thank you.
