On Monday, I hosted the first 10th Congressional District Job Fair at Harper College in Palatine. More than 2,000 area job seekers attended, and met with nearly 30 local employers.

Tomorrow, President Obama will arrive in Cairo to give a landmark speech to the Muslim world and meet with Egypt’s President Mubarak to discuss US-Arab relations. Last week, I sent a letter with Representative Bill Delahunt (D-MA) and 10 other members of Congress to the President requesting that he Mubarak to free Egyptian blogger Kareem Amer.
