The 18th is a diverse district containing both rural and urban areas set within the river valleys and ancient prairies of our area. The 18th District is the home of some of our nation's finest farmland, the State Capital of Illinois, and a tremendous array of businesses.
The 18th District also contains all 11 of the counties that Abraham Lincoln represented during his one term (1847-1849) in Congress.
I take great pride in representing the people of this district and it is truly an honor to be your voice in Washington, D.C.
