Larsen to Cross Border with Point Roberts’ Elementary School Students Then Work Half Shift at Peace Arch Crossing in Blaine |

| Blaine, Wash. – In
an effort to alleviate long wait lines at the northern border and beef
up security, U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) will work with inspectors on
Thursday, January 10th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Peace Arch crossing
in Blaine, WA. The Peace Arch crossing is the third busiest border
crossing along the nation’s entire northern border. Earlier in the
morning, Larsen will board the school bus at 6:35 a.m. for the long bus
ride from Point Roberts to Blaine’s Elementary School.
6:35 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Larsen and Superintendent Gordon Dolman to board
bus at Blaine School District Office
Larsen and Superintendent Dolman travel with elementary
students from Point Roberts to Blaine Elementary School. School starts
at 8:50 a.m.
9:00 a.m. - Noon Larsen to work with Immigration and Naturalization
Services inspectors in their efforts to beef up security and ease traffic
congestion at northern border.
6:35 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Larsen and Superintendent Gordon Dolman to board
