Murray, Larsen, Dunn, Inslee To Call on Congress to Address Pipeline Safety

Washington, D.C. – Tomorrow Sen. Patty Murray, Reps. Rick Larsen, Jennifer Dunn and Jay Inslee will provide reaction following the Highways and Transit subcommittee hearing on pipeline safety.  They will discuss their continued support for new pipeline safety measures on Wednesday, February 13th at 2:40 p.m. on the House Triangle.

Representatives Dunn and Larsen have worked in a bipartisan manner to produce comprehensive pipeline safety legislation - The Pipeline Safety Act of 2001 (H.R. 2749).

Larsen’s efforts have enabled the mother of a Bellingham pipeline victim to testify before the subcommittee this Wednesday, preceding the press conference (10 a.m. - Noon, 2167 RHOB).
