Davis Announces $1 Million for Lake Tansi Sewer Project July 29, 2005

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Rep. Lincoln Davis announced the FY06 Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act contained $1 million for the Lake Tansi sewer project.

Davis said, "This comes down to the basic health and safety of thousands of Cumberland County residents. I applaud the combined efforts of our congressional delegation and local county officials for getting the funding for this much needed project."

The Lake Tansi sewer project in Cumberland County will support new wastewater infrastructure for approximately 1,600 homes. Congressman Davis and Senator's Frist and Alexander worked to get the funding for this project at the request of County Mayor Brock Hill and the residents of Lake Tansi.
