U.S. Rep. Lincoln Davis learned today the Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition is being awarded a $100,000 grant from the Office of National Drug Control Policy through the Drug-Free Communities Support Program.

"The Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition has made an indelible mark and these funds will help continue and strengthen their efforts in making sure we have a safe Roane County," said Congressman Davis. "As your member of Congress I will continue making sure such funds are available for results-oriented programs."

Created in 1997, the Drug-Free Communities Program, directed by the Office of National Drug Control Policy, has helped thousands of community organizations facilitate local drug prevention efforts.
