| This project will provide the first segment of the Newark Riverfront Pedestrian and Bicycle path system. The project is the first phase of a citywide effort to capture the economic benefits of redeveloping the Newark Passaic Riverfront. The project will create local construction and maintenance jobs. Once completed, the project will enhance commercial activities within neighborhoods that are adjacent to the riverfront path system. | |||
