The purpose of this project is to mitigate traffic congestion in downtown Jersey City and to improve the pedestrian environment next to Ferris High School. This project was identified by the Jersey City Regional Waterfront Access and Downtown Circulation Study as beneficial to regional access to the downtown Jersey City regional employment center. Funding would be used for the planning, engineer and design of Merseles and Center Street Tunnels Beneath Montgomery Street in Jersey City, New Jersey |
