Amount Requested: $5,000,000
The Navy's future maritime combatant craft must possess a remotely operated defensive weapon system that can be quickly deployed and retracted.  This capability will minimize craft radar during all phases of each mission and greatly increase the safety and security of those aboard.  These funds will be used to develop that important capability and will put BAE Systems in a position to secure future manufacturing contracts.
