The proposed funding would go toward the Critical Care and Education Alternative Power Generation Project, which will demonstrate the viability of alternative energy production within the health care industry through the installation of photovoltaic power production capabilities. This will serve as a nationwide model to spur greater use of alternative power solutions within the vast health care industry and further support efforts to reduce the U.S. reliance on fossil fuels.
