Via C-SPAN, the public now has unedited access to their federal representatives in action. However, because of the cost of the technology, bandwidth and manpower, local counties and communities around New York that would like to provide the same transparency to their constituents, cannot do so. This project would give taxpayers access to their local governments’ activities even when they may not be able to attend government meetings because of their schedules, providing a level of access and transparency never before experienced in hometown USA.
