This funding will be used to purchase a line of manufacturing equipment to produce photovoltaic ribbon solar cell technology products for military applications.  Ribbon solar technology is a process for growing long thin ribbon crystals of silicon that can be used in photovoltaic electricity generation.  The resulting product allows for highly efficient photovoltaic generation on flexible, durable, lightweight and portable surfaces.  Such mobile power generation would give military operations energy independence desire
