Funds mobility and safety improvements on Highway 217 to address merge/weave conflicts at interchanges.  This project would help reduce congestion and delays for approximately 125,000 daily vehicles, reduce the costs of delivering goods and services associated with truck traffic on Highway 217, and improve safety for the traveling public.  The project is expected to improve the economy and create jobs by enhancing access to numerous existing and developing employment, retail, and industrial areas served by Highway 217.
